Here is a tool that allows one to safely and quickly knock the rod-piston combo out of the block. The pointed end of the billet aluminum installer is simply inserted into one of the two threaded holes in the connecting rod. One then push up, palming the large round knob. The bend in the shaft allows easy navigation around the crankshaft journal. The diver with hot oil dripping onto his face will thank you profusely for this tool. One can also use this tool for inserting the rod-piston combo back into the block. The Rockwell hardness of The Pusher is less than that of the connecting rod so the threads will never be damaged.
