To find the proper belt for
your application, you must
know the following:
-
The make and model of the engine
-
The style of pulleys (1/2 pitch, 8mm etc.)
-
The total tooth count of both pulleys
-
The center to center distance between the upper and lower blower pulley
If you do not have a complete standard BDS blower system, you will need to measure the
center to center distance from the drive snout on the blower to the crankshaft of the
engine. Look at the Belt Chart to find a measurement that comes closest to your
measurement. If you cannot decide which belt will work for your application, we suggest
calling our tech Department.
Locate your engine and belt style in the chart below. The
chart will find a total teeth range for a specific belt length.
This chart will enable you to correctly determine the belt length required for a specific
engine and pulley combination utilizing standard BDS blower systems. These charts may not
be accurate for custom blower systems and systems not manufactured by BDS.
